The App is designed to operate primarily on your device without requiring account registration or cloud synchronization.

The App allows you to voluntarily enter trading information, including but not limited to:

This information is stored locally on your device.

The App does not require account creation.

The App itself does not collect:

Location Information

Your locally stored trade data is used only to provide App functionality, including:

  • Displaying weekday analysis

All calculations occur locally on your device.

4. Local Data Storage

ProfitLens Trade Journal is designed with a local-first architecture.

Your trade journal is stored inside the application's private storage using local Hive databases.

No trade history is uploaded to Bharat Apps Infotech servers.

The App does not operate a cloud database.

5. CSV Import and Export

The App allows you to:

  • Import trade history from CSV files.
  • Export your journal as CSV files.

These actions occur only when initiated by you.

The App accesses only the files you choose.

Your files are not uploaded to our servers.

6. Permissions Used

Depending on your Android version, the App may request storage-related permissions solely to support CSV import and export.

These permissions are used only for features you initiate.

The App does not browse or collect unrelated files from your device.

7. Advertising

The free version of the App displays advertisements using Google AdMob.

Google AdMob may automatically collect certain information to provide, measure, and improve advertising services. This may include:

  • Advertising ID
  • Device identifiers
  • IP address
  • Approximate location derived from IP address
  • App interactions
  • Diagnostic information
  • Performance information

11. Data Retention

All trading data remains stored on your device until you choose to remove it.

Your information may be deleted by:

  • Using the App's Reset All Data feature
  • Clearing the App's storage from Android Settings
  • Uninstalling the App

Exported CSV files remain wherever you save them until you delete them manually.

12. Data Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your information.

Trade records remain inside your device's local application storage.

However, no method of electronic storage can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

Users are encouraged to:

  • Protect their device with screen lock or biometric authentication.
  • Regularly export backups if desired.
  • Keep their device updated.

13. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed toward children under the age of 13.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
